A Community Hub for Local Disc Golf

MassDisc is building an organized way to stay in the loop—events, scores, coverage, and what’s happening at courses near you—all in one place.

What is Mass Disc?

MassDisc is a player-first hub that pulls local disc golf events, scores, and coverage into one place—so you can stay in the loop and plan a great round without the guesswork. Built around your location, the dashboard is designed to help you quickly answer the big questions: what’s happening nearby, what’s worth joining, and where you can play today.

Right now, a lot of this information is spread across different pages, group chats, and platforms—easy to miss unless you’re constantly plugged in. MassDisc brings those local details together and makes them easier to browse based on where you play.

Below is a preview of the tools and modules we’re building toward.

WHERE TO PLAY

Sometimes you’re looking for something to jump into—weekly putting leagues, random doubles, a clinic, or a local event. Other times you just want a quiet casual round. MassDisc takes local event info and organizes it into simple, location-based views so you can either find what’s happening nearby or steer clear of courses that are likely to be busy.

Local Updates is the community bulletin board—quick posts that keep everyone informed, from schedule changes and layout tweaks to course notes, weather-related closures, and other timely info worth knowing before you head out.

Standings and Matchups

Local competition is fun to follow—even if you’re not playing every week. MassDisc is working toward a cleaner way to track formats like Team Challenge by surfacing matchups, standings, and key updates in a quick, easy-to-check view.

The Track Teams tool is a preview of that direction: pick a team to see where they stand, how their season is shaping up, and what’s coming up next—all in one place.

Featured Local Coverage

New England has a ton of quality disc golf content, and plain and simple our plan is to showcase it. From tournament coverage and league rounds to helpful educational videos, MassDisc will highlight content from local creators.

This section is designed to feel like a simple “watch list” for local disc golf. Instead of scrolling feeds and hoping you catch a link, you can jump into coverage right from the dashboard and keep a rotating lineup of recent rounds and highlights in one familiar spot.

Flight Guide/Bag Builder

Explore disc flights at a glance. Each dot on the chart is a disc, plotted by Speed (Y-axis) and stability (X-axis). Use search, Category and Stability filters, and brand chips (Alt/Option-click a chip to solo that brand) to narrow things down.

Hover or tap a dot to see its flight numbers and an estimated flight path. Use the Turn/Fade sliders to tweak how stability is calculated, and flip the RHB/LHB toggle—the X-axis direction flips so the chart matches how you throw. Click + to add a disc to your bag (and − to remove one), then use Show Bag Only to focus on your picks.

Flight numbers are guidelines and will vary with form, plastic, weight, and conditions—this tool is meant to help you compare options quickly and dial in a bag that feels right for your throw.
